Tony Cave Penney: memorial on Dartmoor

This image was included in a collection of images of the Cave Penney family. The family lived and farmed at Rogues Roost, and lived at Little Roost, Sherwell (Sherril), Poundsgate, from about 1907 to 1984. Tony Cave Penney was killed in action on 8 June 1918 and was buried at Ramleh War Cemetery. This memorial to him on Dartmoor overlooks Rogues Roost (behind).
