Cave Penney family: Dolly the governess

This image was included in a collection of images of the Cave Penney family. The family lived and farmed at Rogues Roost, and lived at Little Roost, Sherwell (Sherril), Poundsgate, from about 1907 to 1984. This image shows Dolly, the governess, feeding the chickens. The 1911 Census recorded six staff in the Rogues Roost household, in addition to Amelia and four of her five children: a governess (not named Dolly), a cook, a housemaid, a child's nurse, a groom and an under-gardener.
