100th Birthday of Mary Elizabeth Selwood, 1949

Mary Elizabeth (later Selwood) was born on 12 February 1849. She is shown here celebrating her 100th birthday, receiving a telegram from the Queen. Also shown are the Mayor, Mr Jacka with telegram, Mr & Mrs Phillips in the background. She died aged 101 on Wednesday 7 June 1950.
