Watermans Arms and Victoria Street. Watermans Arms, opening date 1608 with a free lease of 3000 years. Until 1921 belonged to Lion Brewery - when all the Lion Brewery pubs were sold. Withdrawn from auction when bids reached £1250 and subsequently bought by Mrs E.A.Phillips who was tenant at that time and had pair rent of £12 p.a. July 1971 - extensive facelift.
