Barrington had left image file on an office MAC. We have chosen to include them in the database as they illustrate the private man. Taken as part of the Totnes-Vire Trip. Each marker (often a cross, but sometimes other symbols) represents a soldier who was killed, with their name and service information written on it. Located at the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial. Metadata dates the photo to May 2012.
