Cuscuta epithymum on Dartmoor

The parasitic plant Cuscuta epithymum (commonly known as dodder) was found on gorse on Dartmoor on 6 August 2025, on Dr Blackall's Drive, part of the Two Moors Way. No other examples were seen nearby but it had colonised this particular gorse bush.
