Billiards Room (various dates)

This is one of ten photographs that used to hang in the Billiards Room of the (former) Conservative Club on Station Road. When the building was sold in 2024, the new owner donated them to the Image Bank. The photograph is titled: 'TOTNES & DISTRICT BILLIARDS LEAGUE 1983-84. K.O. Cup Winner. 1984-85 K.O. Cup Runners-up. League Runners-up. D. Taylor P. Hamlet. K. Bowden (Capt). L. Treneary.' The Billiards Room was erected around 1904. The Totnes Times and Devon News, 16 July 1904, carried an advertisement on page 4 for tenders to erect a ‘billiard [sic] room and other work at Totnes Club, Station Road’.
