Locksbridge, Stover Canal, 2016

Locksbridge (also known as Teigngrace Lock) was, until the 1860s, the site of the barge repair yard. When the railway arrived, the facility was moved downstream to Graving Dock Lock (see, for example, images KBS 0034 and KBS 0039). This shows remains of lock gates at Locksbridge. We acknowledge the details provided by the Inland Waterways Association and the Stover Canal Trust in writing this.
