William Cole and John Easterbrook

William Cole owned Higher Weekaborough farm, Berry Pomeroy. In this photograph, he is shown on the left, with an Easterbrook brother-in-law, one of his wife's brothers, on the right. Two of his brothers-in-law were recorded in the Cole household at Town Mills in the 1911 Census. In the 1921 Census, John Easterbrook is recorded as exactly one year younger than William Cole, suggesting he is the man on the right. He was still recorded in the Cole household at 1 Dart Villas, Totnes in the 1931 Electoral Roll. The photograph was in an album lent to the Image Bank by Robert Harris, farmer of Higher Weekaborough.
