On 1st June 2004, members of the United States Army paid a visit to Berry Pomeroy to commemorate those of their former colleagues who had been staying there before invading the Normandy Beaches on D-Day. One of their number was Colonel Jose A. Guadelupe, seen here looking at D-Day photos.
