Bailey Bridge: view of west bank from east

In March 2024, the abutment of the Bailey bridge, with pink graffiti, on the west bank (the Totnes town side) can be seen through the undergrowth from the eastern bank. The pier supporting the two sections of the bridge stood equidistant from each bank. Images from March 1944, including the central pier's construction, can be seen elsewhere on this website.
