This is part of a collection relating to a project of the U3A Totnes Photography Group in May 2023. The project, 'Totnes Old and New' was to take an old photo from the Totnes Image Bank and take a new photo of the present view as near as possible from the same viewpoint. The original photo above is a view looking at The High Street, Totnes, from the Narrows, apparently from a time before the motorcar. The view is more or less unchanged in 2023, but there is now modern traffic.
