Dittisham Quay in the 1860s. The nearer public house is Watkins' Passage House Inn, licensee Thomas Blampney. Beyond is The Golden Lion, proprietor Thomas Smith. The cottage on the left had been destroyed by fire. Betty Lovell's Cottage, on the far right, was gone by 1900.
