This is part of a collection relating to a project of the U3A Totnes Photography Group in May 2023. The project, 'Totnes Old and New' was to take an old photo from the Totnes Image Bank and take a new photo of the present view as near as possible from the same viewpoint. The original photo above is a view looking down from Bridgetown Hill, Totnes. The new photo was taken from a position rather to the left, as the original photographer was presumably able to stand in the middle of the road!
