Towle Family, 1890s

L2R Miss Towle , Mr Towle (Son), Mrs Towle (sitting), Miss Towle (Mrs Davy) - late 1890s. Taken in Mary Ellis's summer house. The Towle family ran a drapery and toy shop in the square which was burned out in 1925. Mr Davy came to Moretonhanpstead as a teacher and later learned the printing trade. DRA 3649 MHS 119
