Kingswear Quay and cranes for unloading from coal ships into railway wagons - the last surviving job for the coal lumpers. Ships behind are Bibby Line troopships, the "Lancashire", "Somersetshire" and "Dorsetshire" laid up in Dartmouth during winter and used by the government in summer. 1938-9.
