Village shop, Ogwell, c.1909

Delivery trap outside the only village shop in Ogwell, c.1909. Bill Bartlett, left, and Owen Vanstone in white aprons. Horse called Prince. Primarily a bakers, the shop closed in 1983. On 14 June 1876, the thatched roof of the bakery and shop caught fire and burnt down. The tenant was Mr Skelworthy. DRA 0984 OG 018
