H. Hannaford, c.1860

Hubert [or Herbert] Hannaford (1833-1918.), shown around 1860. Born at Lee Farm, Harberton, then moved to Staverton Bridge Farm. His wife died in childbirth in 1878. Son Wm Henry Hannaford - father of Gidley, Iris & Phyllis. Moved to illny, nr Dartington and farmed both farms. Son married and stayed on with them at Billant. Ancestors were grain importers.
