Evacuation 1943 - Tanker, given be people of Singapore, parked in Strete. Land Army girls and British sailors had provided a 'Food Flying Squad' there up to a few days before Xmas 1943 to help those being evacuated. Here they are packing up their equipment for the last time. DRA 5596 STR 028
