Oldstone Mansion after the 1895 fire

This shows a side view of the ruins of Oldstone Mansion, Blackawton, the home of the Dimes family, after the fire which destroyed the house on the night of Saturday 16 February 1895. On 22 February, the Dartmouth and South Hams Chronicle published an account of events, as well as a letter of thanks from the owner, W S Dimes, to those who tried to help.
