Oldstone Mansion before the 1895 fire

This shows the drawing room at Oldstone Mansion, Blackawton, the home of the Dimes family. The house was destroyed by fire on the night of Saturday 16 February 1895. On 22 February, the Dartmouth and South Hams Chronicle published an account of what happened, as well as a letter of thanks from the owner, W S Dimes. *** DRA 5125 BA 032
