Henry W. Nosworthy, c. 1912

Henry W. Nosworthy, the son of John and Blanche E. Nosworthy, was born 8 July 1907 at West Shallaford Farm, Poundsgate, a grandson of Thirza Caunter. He married Doris Chowen, whose father was a travelling butcher, and lived at Cockingford Mill. In the 1939 Register England & Wales, Henry is recorded as a farmer ('own account') at West Shallaford Farm, with his wife and three children. DRA 4926 PW 095
