Marley House after it became Syon Abbey showing extension, left, built after the nuns came in 1926. L shaped chapel with sanctuary. Public park in front. English Bridgettine Sisters, formed in 1420, fled to Belgium during Reformation & returned 1861 (oldest order in UK). 59 nuns in 1929, only 9 in 1989. DRA 4791 R 079
