Haccombe Interior , c1887

Interior (almost certainly the space used today as an entrance hall) of Haccombe House c1887. Elizabeth (Bessie) Carew with parrot was less stern than her sister Beatrix, had whiter hair and a more rounded face. It was used as school during WW2, then a hotel, then flats. Today, August 2022, Haccombe House is divided into 27 flats. DRA 0401 R 025
