Culvert 1938-9

Culvert under construction next to Kingsbridge by-pass. 1938/9 - W.Blake and father A.Blake did al the carpentry work. They lived in Diptford and came in every day. Toby Finch did all the stone cutting for the arches. The Blake's had a workshop at the bottom of Castle Hill by the railway line. They made up the two shuttering sections for the culvert under the by-pass.
