Len Cann, second right., a photograph possibly taken in India. This is one of a selection of photographs from the Cann family who lived in Tuckenhay. Len Cann was born in Tuckenhay in 1914 and worked as an apprentice cooper, later going into business on his own. He made scrumpy and, after WW2, took up the trade again with his brother, using the lime kilns to repair barrels.
