Taken in 1936 at a Fete in the grounds of Totnes Castle. From right: Charlie Niles; Dr MacDowell-Davis and his wife Betty; Dick Eskell, the only qualified dental surgeon in the town at the time (Mrs Billington's father) at 72 Fore Street. The other lady is thought to be the sister from the old Totnes Hospital.
