Town mill 1990s Totnes historic water mill was sold by Safeway to Totnes and District Preservation Trust for £1 In June 1994. The store also gave £10,000 to TDPT towards its preservation and restoration which was expected to cost around £160,000. The work was completed in 1997 and a charitable trust, Totnes Town Mill Trust, was formed to take a long lease of the premises. DP9
