Calstock Viaduct
Calstock Viaduct. I.K.Brunel built all bridges, viaducts & tunnels from Plymouth to Penzance being no fewer than 51 timber viaducts, later updated by stone, brick or iton. In 1904 Calstock Viaduct had wooden supports and in 1906/7 was completed. There was a tower at sometime used as hoist to lift goods onto the train. In 1912 the lift was dispensed with. March 2008 - 100 years of trains running between Bere Alston and Gunnislake across the Calstock Viaduct.
