Ticklemore Street 1930s

House and shop at the end of Ticklemore Street no longer there, the old Western National Bus Garage behind and the Dartmouth Inn to the right. In 1929 Mr Hendra 's "Totnesia" bus garage for 3 buses in Victoria Street passed to Mumfords who became 'Southern General' before being taken by Western National. 1 & 2 Victoria street were purchased in 1935 and partly demolished for parking. 2,3, & 4 Ticklemore Street were demolished to make way for new bus garage opened in 1935.
