POSTCARD FRITH 55260A - produced 1906. King William 1V Inn, 45 Fore Street. This rounded brick building replaced an earlier Elizabethan style one demolished in 1902. Mr Thomas ran the inn in 1901. Around 1900 an omnibus coach service to Paignton operated from the hotel three times daily in summer months, and twice daily in winter. The road junction (Station Road) was built in 1830. Dining, tea rooms at 46 Fore Street.
