Taunton Monument
Taunton Monument - also known as the Castle and Keys... "was erected at the end of New Walk when a new bowling green was opened there in 1824, during the mayorality of William Doidge Taunton. The monument was at the end of an avenue of trees planted between 1784 and 1795 to the north of the Steam Packet Inn."
