Thomas and Peter Perring, c. 1915

Both brothers were born in Totnes: Thomas Shapter Perring in 1907 and Peter Thomas Coyte Perring in c. 1906. (Coyte was the father’s forename.) This photograph was possibly taken near the Globe Inn, Totnes, where they lived at 1 Vale Cottages and where they are recorded in the 1921 Census. In the 1911 Census, the family was at 4 Warlands, with the father’s aunt, Henrietta Caroline Perring.
