The Bridge Inn now The Pig and Whistle, Totnes Road, Littlehempston, 1909. L.Hutchings with steam traction engine and cart filled with stones (for Buckfast Abbey). Joan Hawkins nee Hutchings, age 3, in foreground. Chapel behind tree, right. Pub was originally a blacksmith shop. Latterly moved behind the inn with stable and cottage also.
