Cott Inn

Cott Inn in snow. On the ancient packhorse route to Ashburton is the long low thatched Cott Inn built in the reign of Edward ll and first opened 1320. In C19 the Cott combined with adjacent cottages retaining the old three foot thick walls. Ref B1/E7/3415/1 of 4
