Taunton Monument at New Walk

Taunton Monument, St Peters Quay - a memorial to the Mayor during whose tenure of office a bowling green was created on New Walk. Looking south here towards the Steam Packet. The trees were cut down at New Walk when tramway from GWR station to the Quay was made.
