Bridgetown Housing 1946

Lil Ramsden laying the first brick at Pathfields Council Housing 1946. This area was known as Marks Field as he had his animals on this site. Joseph Smith (left) borough surveyor, ?, Jack Brown *(1872-1955) council mason laid a lot of the York stone in the town & lived at Ramparts walk, great uncle to Bill Bennett & Ann Mingo.
