The old D & C bank (opened 23.10.1933) it was a double fronted C19 building with large gateway and access. Lloyds bank extended the premises in 1916 Mr J.D.Manley was manager of Lloyds Bank for 14 years, retiring in April 1929, and was previously manager of the old Naval Bank. He has lived in Totnes for 45 years
