Fore Street and East Gate. POSTCARD 13791. TT Mar 1902- Teignmouth Sanitary Steam Laundry opened a branch office for Totnes at 49 Fore Street under the management of Mr & Mrs Frank Tucker. This laundry won the gold meda for Finery at the Laundry Exhibition, Agricultural Hall London 1900 in a competition that was open to the world. The laundry was situated in Station Road, Teignmouth and claimed to be the finest and most uptodate laundry in the West of England being fitted up with the best English machinery.
