Coronation 1911

Totnes Coronation Celebration, for HM King George V & Queen Mary - June 1911, was marred by wet weather. The Territorials, Boys Brigade, Mayor and Corporation & schoolchildren formed a square on the Plains. Under direction of Captain J.Windeatt the Territorials fired a feu de joie and gave a royal salute. Band of H. Co 5th (Prince of Wales) Devonshire Regiment T.F.Band.
