CHAPMAN & SON The church of St Pancras, Widecombe also known as the Cathedral of the Moor. 120ft tower. Originally built C14 in the Perpendicular style usuing locally quarried granite and enlarged over the following two centuries partly on the proceeds of the mining trade. Decorative ceilings including emblem of a circle of three hares (known as the Tinners Rabbits)
