Silver Dart 1977

Silver foil collected by Totnes Rowing Club for the boat Silver Dart christened by Mayor Bill Bennett, 1977. A carbon glass-fibre rowing skiff costing £2200.00, attended by many supporters and club chairman H.J.Sollars. The Mayor holds a goblet belonging to his Uncle who had won this for rowing when he was a member of the club. Pictured at Steamer Quay. Andy Pedrick on left. Totnes Rowing Club established 1867. ***
