Pics fom South Pool book donated to DRA. DP9 "Herons" South Pool. Formerly the Village Shop, grade 2 listed. This shows typical construction of early C18 wokers cottages, originally two. In 1997 the house was overhauled and the rendering removed which showed the use of 'stone' the bottom half random rubble and the upper half traditional cob.
